[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this tablet for my daughter to use because all the other tablets she ever had never lasted long. This tablet is great because you put it in the kids version and know they are safe from seeing stuff on the internet that they shouldn't. It has plenty of things on it for the kids to do to keep them entertained and learning. It's pricey but well worth the money. It has great graphics and a wonderful picture. I would definitely buy her another Samsung tablet when the time comes.

Issues with the charging port. I've sent the tablet in for repairs once to have the issue resolved but the charging port has failed to charge the tablet again, and my warranty expired in September

The tech details allege, for the 256GB, it lacks external micro-SD card port that the 128GB claims, & shows USB = 2.0! If true, that is old tech, if false, bad datasheet shows Samsung themselves dont know or care. Not purchasing until I KNOW.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my nieces to use for a plane ride, and they loved it so much that they would color or draw or make an Ai animated emoji with all sorts of different accents, and I still crack up when I think about it! I also got a lot of random pictures of them trying to take selfies, or the window, or the people sitting behind them! I also got a bunch of thank you messages that are the most precious things ever! When i ordered this i thought it was more of a kids tablet. When i got it i realized it was the same tablet we had before just with a child proof case and no screen protector (why no screen protector when its for kids beyond me) so i was kinda disappointed with that part. The tablet is a good tablet just was expecting something different. If i had read things through i would have figured it out

As always, Samsung products are reliable and this is no exception. Battery power seems a bit week, but this may be due to some background process I have not yet found and disabled. There is an annoying new (to me) app - Device Care - which I do not need or want. I find there's no way to turn it off, but it appears you can disable the notifications. Seems silly. As for design, there are a couple of issues. The 3.5" jack is located at a corner of the device on the bottom right. It is in the way when supporting the tablet upright or charging with a right angle charger. When the tablet is placed in a case, the cord is awkward when standing horizontally and watching videos. Not everyone wears Bluetooth headphones (the batteries don't last the day) and some of us cannot utilize the speaker without disturbing others. Additionally, the side buttons are almost flush with the edge of the device, which would be nice if I used the tablet without a case. But when the device is in the case, the buttons cannot be manipulated easily...or sometimes at all. But it is the lower end model and the price point was spot on. The display is wonderful, and after all, that's the part that's important!
