Apple iPad - Turn iCloud Backup On / Off

Here's how to turn the iCloud backup feature for your iPad on or off.

Open the

Settings app

on your Apple® iPad®.

Tap the

Apple profile

(e.g., John Doe) at the top of the Settings menu.

Tap

iCloud

If prompted, enter the Apple ID and password then tap

Tap

iCloud Backup

Tap the

Back Up This iPad switch

to turn on or off.

While enabled, data such as your accounts, documents and settings are automatically backed up to iCloud®.

To backup manually, tap

Back Up Now

Some features / services require a Wi-Fi connection, aren't available in all countries and access is limited to 10 devices.
