Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your moto g - 2025.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written, without waiting or the need for an extra device.

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accessibility
    Real Time Text (RTT) Call
    .
  3. Tap the
    Show RTT keyboard during calls switch
     to turn on or off.
    When RTT is enabled on both devices no audio is heard on the call. If you aren't hearing audio make sure RTT is turned off.
  1. With RTT enabled, open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Tap the
      Keypad icon
       keypad icon, enter a 10-digit number then tap the
      RTT icon
       RTT call icon.
    • From the Contacts tab, select a contact then tap the
      RTT call icon
       RTT call icon.
    • From the Favorites or Recents tab, tap the
      RTT call icon
      .
  1. While on a call, tap the
    Menu icon
     3-dot Menu icon then select
    Show RTT keyboard
    .
  1. While on a call, tap the
    End call icon
    End RTT call icon.
