Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G - Insert or Remove SD / Memory Card

Here's how to insert or remove an SD / memory card for your Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ supports microSD memory cards that can be purchased from any Verizon store or online.

Ensure the device is powered off.

To power off the device, press and hold the

Power / Side button

and

Volume down button

until the 'Power off' prompt appears, release the buttons then tap

Remove the card tray (lower-right edge with the device in portrait orientation and display facing up).

Use the SIM removal tool (or a paperclip) to unlock the tray by inserting it into the provided slot then remove the tray.

Do one of the following:

To avoid damaging your SD card, don't touch the gold contacts.

Insert the SD card

The SD card goes in the slot on the opposite side of the tray from the SIM card. The slot is keyed so there is only one way to insert the SD card; ensure the gold contacts are facing up and the notch is aligned with the SIM / SD tray.

Remove the SD card

From the bottom of the card, carefully lift to remove. To assist, use the opening on the opposite side of the tray to dislodge (remove the SIM card if necessary).

Insert the card tray then press it back into its slot until it clicks, making sure it's secure.
