Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, hotspot name, etc.) on your Pixel 7 / 7 Pro.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Network & internet

Hotspot & tethering

Wi-Fi hotspot

Tap

Use Wi-Fi hotspot

to turn on.

From the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, set up the following:

Hotspot name

Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)

Hotspot password

The new password must be entered on the connecting device.

Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.

Enter the password then tap

Tap

Turn off hotspot automatically

to turn on or off.

Tap

Speed & compatibility

then select the preferred frequency.
