Here's how to enter Setup Mode and launch the 5G Compass on your Verizon Internet Gateway.
This process is for the following Verizon Internet Gateway devices:
- WNC-CR200A
- ASK-NCQ1338
- ASK-NCQ1338FA
- ARC-XCI55AX
View the SKU from the label on the bottom of the device.
Repositioning tips:
- To get a better signal, avoid keeping the device in the basement.
- Avoid having obstacles near the device, clear any objects near the window that could interfere with getting a signal.
- Keep the Gateway away from metal obstructions and direct sunlight.
- Keep the Gateway away from other Wi-Fi devices, 2.4GHz computer peripherals, wireless household appliances (including baby monitors, Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, refrigerators, and other industrial equipment) to prevent signal interference or loss.
