Orbic Chromebook - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Orbic Chromebook.

If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating your new Orbic® Chromebook®.

If performing first time (out-of-the-box) setup, ensure the SIM card is inserted.

If powered off, press the

Power Button

to turn on.

Select a language then click

(lower-left).

From the 'Connect to a network' screen, select a network then click

If prompted, enter the network security key (Wi-Fi password) then click

Connect

From the 'Google terms of service' screen, read the info then click

to set up the primary user / Admin for the device, then click

To sign in with yourGoogle™ account, enter an email address, then click

If prompted, enter the password then tap or click

From the 'Sync your Chromebook' screen, click

Accept and continue

to sync your other Chrome OS devices.

You can check the 'Review sync options following setup' box to choose a sync option after setup is complete.

From the 'Google Play apps and services' screen, read the Terms of Service, then click

If necessary, click

to review additional info.

Click on any of the popular apps to install then click

Done
