Here's how to export contacts from your Gmail account to a CSV file.
- From a computer, open an internet browser then navigate to the Gmail website.
- Sign in with the Gmail™ account username and password.
- Navigate:.Google apps menuContacts
- ClickExport(left menu).
- From Export contacts, select the desired option:
- Selected contacts
- Contacts (xx)Click thedropdown arrowto select a group.
- If Group was selected, select the desired contact group:
- Contacts
- Starred Contacts
- Frequently contacted
- LabelsSelect from a label created (e.g., coworkers, my contacts, family, etc.).
- From Export as, select the desired export format then clickExport:
- Google CSV (for importing into a Google account)
- Outlook CSV (for importing into Outlook or another app)
- vCard format (for importing into Apple Address Book or other app)
