Here's how to turn iCloud Private Relay, which helps protect your privacy when you browse the web, on or off on your iPhone.

This feature is only available on Apple® iPhone® iOS 15 or later and requires an iCloud+ subscription.

Open the

Settings app

Tap the

Apple profile

(e.g., John Doe) at the top of the Settings menu.

Tap

iCloud

If prompted, enter the Apple ID and password then tap

If you forgot your password, follow these step-by-step instructions.

Tap

Private Relay

Tap the

Private Relay switch

to turn on or off.

While iCloud Private Relay is on, it may cause websites to load slowly while using the Safari browser.

When turning off, tap

Turn Off Private Relay

when prompted to confirm.
