Personalizing the Home screen on your motorola edge 5G UW makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag the shortcut to the desired Home screen then release.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. Touch and hold a widget.
  5. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g. Gmail) then release.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder:
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
    1. Tap a folder.
    2. Tap the title bar located at the bottom of the open folder (e.g., Edit Name).
    3. Enter a name then tap the
      Done icon
      Checkmark icon.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. Drag the item to 'Remove' then release.
  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Tap
    Curated Images
    then tap
    Change wallpaper
    .
  4. Select a folder (e.g., My Photos, Cityscapes, Life, etc.)
  5. Locate then tap the preferred picture.
    If prompted, edit the picture then tap the checkmark.
  6. Tap the
    Checkmark icon
    .
  7. From the 'Set wallpaper' screen, choose one of the following:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
    • Home screen and lock screen
