  • This device has a Type-C charging port which allows for more data throughput and can support technologies such as Adaptive Fast Charging.Use only manufacturer-approved chargers.
  • USB Type-C cables are reversible, meaning there is no way to plug the cable into the port upside down.
  • MicroUSB cables can't be used and may damage the port if used.
  • The use of Type-C adapters isn't recommended.
  • Some heat is anticipated and perfectly normal, though the phone shouldn't become too warm to handle comfortably.
  • The Galaxy A51 supports Adaptive Fast Charging, and therefore is likely to get warm during charging. This is expected, especially if the device is being operated while it's charging. If the device gets warm during normal use, see the tips above.
  1. Plug the device into an outlet using the provided Samsung charging cable and a charging block (if available) then wait at least 1-2 minutes to allow the device to charge.
  2. If the device doesn't seem to charge with the provided AC charger, connect the provided USB cable to a different AC charger (if available). If the device charges under this configuration, the provided AC charger needs to be replaced.
