Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your Galaxy A51.

Ensure a secure screen lock type has been set up.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Security and privacy

Biometrics

Face Recognition

Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.

Do one of the following:

For first-time setup:

From the 'Are you wearing glasses right now?' screen select 'yes' or 'no' then tap

Continue

While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the circle displayed onscreen.

From the 'Useful features' menu, tap the switch(es) to turn each option on or off (e.g., Face unlock, Stay on Lock screen, etc.) then tap

To remove face data:

From the Face recognition menu, tap

Remove face data

To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
