Here's how to place a call from your Avalon.

From a home screen, tap the

Phone icon

(lower left).

If unavailable, from a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen then tap

Phone

Tap the

Keypad icon

, enter a 10-digit number then tap

Send

(at the bottom).

As the recipient's number or name is entered, a matching contact may appear and can be selected at any time.
