Sonim XP8 - Turn App Permissions On / Off

Here's how to turn permissions for apps on your Sonim XP8 on or off.

If you need to turn app permissions for your Sonim XP8® on or off, which gives you the ability to customize and control which capabilities you give apps, follow these step-by-step instructions.

Turning off certain permissions may result in basic features no longer working as intended.

From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.

Navigate: Settings
Settings icon

> Apps & notifications
.

Tap

Advanced

then tap Permission manager
.

Tap any of the available permissions (e.g., Camera, Contacts,etc.).

Tap an app then tap 'Allow' or 'Deny'.

If turning off permission, from the 'If you deny this permission...' prompt, tap 'CANCEL' or 'DENY ANYWAY'.
