Your G8 ThinQ lets you organize your contacts based on your preference by merging the details of multiple entries or separating them.
The Contacts app on the LG G8 ThinQ™ uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (e.g., Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, it can be separated back into individual contacts.
- TapContactsthen do one of the following:
- To link a contact:
- Tap the desired contact then tap theMenu icon
.
- TapMerge.
- From the 'Merge' screen, tap the contact to merge with.If necessary, tapShow all contacts.
- To unlink a contact:
- Tap theMenu iconthen tapManage contacts.
- If presented with a 'Merge notification' pop-up, tapOK.
- Tap theMerged contacts tab.
- TapSeparateto the right of the desired contact.
