Samsung Galaxy Watch - Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock

Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Galaxy Watch.

From your Android™ smartphone or Apple® iPhone® , ensure your Galaxy Watch software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.

From the watch screen, press the

Home button

to open the apps screen.

Navigate:

Settings

Security and privacy

Lock

Tap

Type

Do one of the following:

Set up or modify a PIN:

Tap

Enter a 4-digit PIN.

Re-enter the 4-digit PIN to confirm.

Set up or modify a pattern:

Tap

Pattern

Draw the desired pattern.

The pattern must contain 4 or more dots.

Re-draw the pattern to confirm.

To disable the screen lock, tap
