Add / Remove Face Recognition - LG G Pad X8.3

Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your LG G Pad X8.3.

Ensure a secure lock screen type has been set up.

Tap the

Apps icon

on your LG G Pad™ X8.

Navigate:

Settings

Lock screen

Smart Lock

Enter the current unlock method (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.).

If presented with the "What is Smart Lock?" screen, tap

GOT IT

Perform one of the following:

For first time setup:

Tap

Trusted face

Tap

SET UP

Review the info then tap

If presented with the "Trusted Face permissions" screen, tap

ALLOW

Align your face within the circle and follow onscreen prompts until the process is complete.

Tap

DONE

To remove face data:

From the 'Face Unlock' menu, tap

Delete
