Here's how to quickly set up your LG V30.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
- If powered off, press and hold thePower button(back of phone) until the LG logo appears then release.
- Select the appropriate language then tapNEXT.
- If presented with 'Verify Your Account', enter your Verizon account PIN then tapNEXT.See Account PIN FAQs for additional info.If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.
- After the phone is activated, tapNEXT.
- If you choose 'SKIP', you can add Wi-Fi networks after setup is complete.
- From the 'Copy apps & data' screen, tapNEXT.If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.
- If you choose 'Skip', you can add your Google account after setup is complete.
- Turn on any of the following then tapACCEPT:On when the switch is turned on
.
- Use location
- Allow scanning
- Send usage and diagnostic data
- If you choose 'No, thanks' you can add a screen lock or fingerprint recognition after setup is complete.
- Tap the preferred option then follow the on-screen instructions.
- From the 'Your Google Assistant is built into your new phone' screen, tapNext.
- From the 'Verizon Cloud' screen, tapNEXT.If you choose 'Skip', you can set up Verizon Cloud after setup is complete.
- From the Email accounts' screen, add any additional email accounts or pressSKIP.
- From the 'Security & Privacy' screen, review the terms and conditions then tapACCEPT.
- From the 'Ready to go!' summary screen, tapGOT IT!.
