Here's how to handle problems with short code messages when activating your Gizmo wearable.
If you are unable to send or receive short codes text messages on your Gizmo devices, view this info.
- Short code messages use 5 or 6 digit number sequences in place of phone numbers.
- Gizmo devices require the use of short code messaging for initial setup and activation. If the caregiver's phone is unable to send / receive short code messages, activations fail.
