Samsung Galaxy J3 Mission - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Galaxy J3 Mission.

To avoid potential issues, review the following:

View this info if performing first time (out-of-the-box) setup.

Accounts (e.g., Gmail, email, etc.) should be set up after activating the device (see Additional Support section at the bottom of this page).

If powered off, press and hold the

Power button

(on the right edge) until the Samsung logo appears then release.

From the 'Start' screen, select the appropriate language then tap the

Next icon

In order to enter setup, you must accept the terms and conditions and Privacy Policy. Tap the check boxes to select them then tap

AGREE

If presented with a Phone Activation screen, tap NEXT or tap ACTIVATE NOW (if available).

If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the on-screen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).

If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off and allow several minutes for the deactivation of the old phone to complete.

From the 'Set up wi-fi' screen, tap

From the 'Google Sign in' screen, tap

From the 'Name' screen, enter your name then tap

From the 'Protect your phone' screen, select

then tap

From the 'Verizon Cloud' screen, tap
