Hum by Verizon - Locate the VIN

Here's how to help locate your VIN number if your Hum device can't detect it.

If you're not sure where the VIN number is on your vehicle, this info shows where to find it.

The vehicle's VIN is needed for activation and can be found in several locations on the vehicle or on documents like the auto insurance card.

Locate the VIN by looking through the windshield or by viewing the inside of the driver's side door frame.

If VIN isn't located in either of these areas, it may also be:

inside the front edge of the trunk lid

inside the driver's side wheel area

on the front of the engine

underneath the spare tire
