Ensure your Verizon Cloud app is up to date on your Android™ smartphone as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
- Open theVerizon Cloud app

- Tap theSettings icon
(upper-right).
- Do one of the following:
- To specify what types of content you want Cloud to back up:
- TapWhat to Back Up and Sync.
- Select the desired options then tap theBack icon
(upper-left) to return to the Settings screen:
Item is selected when a checkmark is present.- Contacts
- Photos
- Videos
- Audio
- Documents
- Messages
- Call History
- To specify whether or not Cloud can use your mobile data connection:
- TapHow to Back Up.
- Select an option then tapOK:Item is selected when a red dot is present.
- Wi-Fi Only
- Wi-Fi and Mobile Networks (Data usage may apply.)
- To define a schedule for content backup:
- TapWhen to Back Up.
- Tap an option then tapOK:Item is selected when a red dot is present.
- Hourly
- During the day
- At night
