Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016) - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your Galaxy J3 (2016).

Instructions on inserting/removing your SIM can help with activation issues/errors, browser connection problems and a blank/frozen screen

Do not attempt to insert/remove the SIM card while the device is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or the device.

Ensure the device is powered off.

Using the notch (located on the upper-left edge, when the device is face down) gently lift and remove the battery cover.

From the notch in lower edge of the battery compartment, lift and remove the battery.

Do one of the following:

Insert SIM card

With the gold contacts facing down, align the card (notch first) then slide the SIM card in.

Remove SIM card

Slide the SIM card out of the slot.

Align the gold battery contacts with the contacts in the battery compartment then gently press the battery into place.

Align the battery cover then gently press to snap the cover into place.
