Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0) - Add a User Account

Here's how to add additional user accounts to your Galaxy Tab E (8.0).

From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

These instructions only apply to the default Home screen layout.

Here's how to check what software version your device is running.

From the Users and profiles section (on the right), tap

Add user or profile

Do one of the following:

To add a full access user account:

This account type allows users to access their own apps and content.

to confirm.

The device logs out of the current user account and into the new account.

To add a restricted access user account:

This account type allows users limited access to apps and content.

User (restricted profile)

SET UP SCREEN LOCK

Follow these instructions (to set up screen lock) prior to continuing with the next step.

From the Application/content restrictions section, configure the restrictions as desired.

Turn on

to allow access to an app or turn off Off Switch

to restrict access.
