Hum by Verizon is an all-in-one connected car system. Hum connects to your car through an On Board Diagnostic II (OBD II) reader that monitors your vehicle's performance. Hum provides live help, maintenance reminders, roadside assistance and more.

You can choose from 2 Hum versions, Hum⁺ and Hum^x. Each comes with a Hum OBD II reader and the Hum mobile app. Visit our Hum page to learn more about the Hum features.

The latest version of Hum⁺ includes the OBD II reader and access to the Hum app to monitor your vehicle's performance. Plus 24/‍7 Roadside Assistance and Crash Response so you can get help when it matters most.

Note: Our previous version of Hum⁺ (1st generation) included a Bluetooth® speaker which is no longer available. You can find help for both versions of Hum⁺ on our Troubleshooting pages.

Hum^x includes all the features above, plus:

• A Bluetooth speaker
• In-Vehicle Wi-Fi (included with Hum^x. Can be added to Hum⁺ for $10/month)
• Number Share - Mobile so you can make hands-free calls with your Verizon mobile number

Hum by Verizon is available only to those with a Verizon mobile account. You must be the Account Owner to sign up.

The monthly subscription for Hum by Verizon is:

• Hum^x - $15/month with In-Vehicle Wi-Fi and Roadside Assistance included.
• Hum⁺ - $10/month. In-Vehicle Wi-Fi can be added for an additional $10/month.

The Hum by Verizon OBD II reader connects to your vehicle's OBD port. This is the same port used by mechanics to diagnose issues and monitor performance.

You receive proactive alerts and easy-to-understand explanations for common onboard Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). For troubleshooting, you can also press the blue customer service button on the Hum speaker to connect directly to the mechanics hotline.

Go to the Apple® App Store® or Google Play to download the Hum app.

Call Hum Customer Service at 800-711-5800 to terminate your subscription. Please note that an early termination fee may apply.
