Elegant Design but Compromised Battery Life

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I waited a few months to get mine as my early production Z Fold4 suffered hinge issues. The 7 is certainly an improvement - it's much thinner and the outside screen is pretty much full size. I decided to preserve the thinness by going with a thin carbon fiber case instead of my usual leather cases. I have noticed two issues so far: 1) the back button is sometimes unresponsive, not sure if this is a hardware, firmware or software issue; and 2) the battery life is not great. I charge mine to 90% to preserve the battery, and barely get through a full day. I wish they had made the phone just a little thicker to allow for more battery capacity. The other frustration I have is that a short while after I bought it, the Trifold was announced. While that is significantly more expensive, I would still be interested but don't want to trade in a new phone. If I had known the Trifold was on the horizon I might have waited - my August 2022 Z Fold4 still works well.

Upgrading from S25 Ultra. Have had this phone 8 days now and really liking it displays are really great. Really fast and snappy. Seems like a durable phone for the most part very well put together. The four main takeaways for me camera could be better with the optical zoom, once you go to 3x it seems to get choppy and blurry. Battery life is not the greatest only 4400 mAh compared to 5000 mAh on the S25 Ultra. And only 25W charging on Super fast charging comparing to 45W super fast charging 2.0 on S25 Ultra. From 5% to 100% takes almost an extra 30 minutes. And the biggest downfall BRING BACK THE S PEN FOR THE Z FOLDS, SAMSUNG YOU DROPPED THE BALL ON THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When unfolded, the screen feels like a small tablet, making it incredibly easy to read, watch videos, multitask, and see everything clearly without straining your eyes. The folding mechanism has been working flawlessly for me. No cracks, no issues—just smooth performance and solid build quality. Samsung really delivered on durability this time around. I went from the six to the seven and really on the first day the seven felt just like the six did.... There was no huge difference even though there were changes like the screen is a little bigger and the thing is thinner but not enough to really stand out.... That said, I still like the Samsung fold phones.. I've had four of the seven generations so far.. and I will buy another one..

Love the size of the screen and the thickness of the phone. Still learning all of the features but so far looks very promising. The only negative I have and this isn't really about the phone that the phone was delivered with five g network off which caused me concern because it took me a while to realize why I couldn't connect to the Internet off wifi.
