Strong recognition to two Verizon associates in their assistance to me during upgrade transition to new Samsung Galaxy S25 In attempting to start up my new cell phone, I discovered that I had mislaid the envelope containing the SIM. This required me to reach out to a Verizon IT support technition associate. I was connected with "JOE" (offshore associate) who very patiently and expertly guided me thru turning the phone on (lower smaller side button vs. larger upper button now used for volume control. My what an improvement!), installing the eSIM, beginning the data transfer procedure. He spent probably close to 2 hours with me till we verified the S25 was operating. No reflection on his training or IT support but I later determined that the data transfer (contacts, messages, photos etc.) from my old phone to the S25 was incomplete. Not his problem but obviously a very slow WiFi bandwidth issue at my end (north Phoenix location supported by CenturyLink-might want to look into that!). So a 5 star rating to "JOE" (Saturday 17 January, 2pm MST) Second Verizon associate to be recognized is Taylor at the North/East Verizon store branch (Cactus & Tatum, Phoenix-Scottsdale, AZ USA) Monday, January 19, 11am MST. The following Monday I went to this branch to complete the data transfer (contacts, messgaes, photos etc.) He was great at linking the phones together and overseeing the transfer. He then oversaw the resetting of the old phone to original condition in accordance with the trade-in requirement conditions. A very big 5 start rating to Taylor. He spent probably close to 30 minutes with me and was very professional and personable to me. It is my strong recommendation that efforts be made to specifically recognize these individuals ("JOE" and Taylor) for their customer service, IT training acumen, patience and general expertise. Now the Samsung Galaxy S25 phone rating . . . generally a 5 star though I always amazed at how the same funtions are changed just to be different. Still researching "missing"/"relocated" functions.
