Despite the somewhat blah reviews, I took a chance on the Edge and found it to be above my expectations. It is sleek, easy to use, and fast. The camera is probably not the best out there, but it is very good. It works well with android. I read that it will only get 2 updates, which is a shame. Motorola should change that. Hence the 4 rather than 5 stars.

This phone works good for the most part. I am upset that I HAVE to use google messaging. Also, VERY upset that I don't have a gallery on my phone for my pictures. I do not like to be forced to back up my photos and have to search through other files in my phone to find my screen shots.

Motorola tests devices against hazardous physical and environmental conditions under select categories and procedures of the MIL-STD-810H standard to determine durability. Water and dust resistance were tested to IP68 and IP69 standards under controlled laboratory conditions. Withstands immersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, and is protected against powerful, high-temperature water jets for up to 30 seconds.
